COVID-19 Procedures
We continue to have strict COVID-19 safety protocol, office procedures and policies in place as the health and well-being of our patients, employees and community is our priority. We are seeing all patients in-person unless they meet one of these criteria:
- Have cold or flu like symptoms
- Had recent changes to their sense of taste and smell
- Have had or been exposed to someone COVID Positive within 12 days of the appointment
- Anyone that has traveled out of state should contact our staff for more information. Note that the hot spot locations for COVID are changing and we have to maintain as much safety for the patients and the staff as possible.
You can expect these procedures to be in place when you visit our office. They will be modified as precautions are adjusted by the CDC and takes into consideration the close physical distance needed to effectively treat patients:
- Only one patient allowed at a time with no additional guests
- All patients and staff must wear a face mask and patients will be offered tape to secure their mask in place
- Continue to sterilize and disinfect surfaces and equipment between each patient
- Patients only have contact with essential staff
- Maintain 6 feet distance between all patients and staff unless performing essential eye examinations
